Unfortunately & sadly we had to postpone our stay as we had a family bereavement and hope to get to the hotel very shortly. As you can understand we haven’t set a new date yet but the hotel and their staff have been wonderful during this awful period and I’m sure we will have a wonderful time there soon

We loved the concept of staying in a Romany-type caravan for two nights. The location suited us as naturalists so well with places like Arne Heath and Brownsea Island so close. We did other trips to Thomas Hardy’s house; Corfe Castle and to the Great Bustard project on Salisbury Plain. We packed a lot in but we were there close to Longest Day so we had lots of time to use. We are in our 70’s but encountered no problems here - and the staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Fanatic hotel and spa great getaway

Beautiful place to stay. Was the perfect getaway for us with a lovely apartment with fantastic views. Really peaceful and tranquil it was really cold the next day but you wouldnt have known it given how warm the apartment was. Lovely breakfast the next day too. We loved that it was just outside the city so we visited Cardiff on the day we arrived and then the following day we took a visit to Barry as again it was close enough we could do this. We found a fantastic local pub to have a nice pub grub evening meal. Only thing I would note was the check out time was limited we hadnt spotted this until the day were arriving so it did cut short our walk around cardiff as we had to be sure we could check in within the timescale. You can make arrangements before your visit

Had an amazing time in York and stayed at principal York perfect location and such a nice hotel never had bad experience from red letter days and will definitely buy again

What a joy to stay here. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The room was very comfortable and sparkling clean. Perfect temperature so no fiddling with Aircon/heaters etc. Our evening meal was delicious and the breakfast was varied and tasty.
