Savoy Grill

Sunday roast was incredible, wonderful wine & a lovely dessert . The service was excellent with staff being friendly & very attentive. Only criticism is that cauliflower cheese and parsnips were not available, which both were said to be included on the menu outside the hotel.

Dining at the Savoy Grill was a masterclass in refined indulgence. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, and the setting—steeped in Art Deco glamour—felt both iconic and inviting. We began with a classic steak tartare: finely hand-chopped, perfectly seasoned, and served with crisp sourdough. It was bold, balanced, and beautifully presented. The main course was a triumph succulent lamb, cooked to a perfect blush, paired with seasonal vegetables and a rich jus that brought everything together. Every bite was deeply satisfying and elegantly composed. Dessert was a playful surprise: the “floater.” Despite its whimsical name, it was a beautifully delicate panna cotta-style creation, served in a pool of silky custard. Light, creamy, and subtly sweet, it was the perfect finish to a luxurious meal. This experience was a gift, and it felt like one from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates classic British cuisine delivered with finesse in one of London’s most iconic dining rooms.

Booking was simple and choosing a day and time. Access was very simple and there appears to be no limit on the time you spend at the top of the Shard

The Savoy certainly knows how to give an experience! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. It is definitely on my list of ones to repeat.

Had a great Sunday lunch we had roast beef, the beef was done exactly like we ordered, the vegetables were cooked just right. The only thing wrong was the gravy, not enough in the little pot they gave you, probably could have asked for more, my fault for not asking. Great meal
