Steam Train Experience

I went for a one-hour ride with my mum for my birthday. It was an absolutely beautiful setting and we got to brush the horses and take off their saddles etc. It was perfect for beginners and we both really enjoyed it.

This was a lovely day out, especially as the scones were warm and the cream and jam were perfect. The tea was so nice, I took a picture of the wrapper and bought some later. The staff were friendly and were more than interested in what they do.

A very enjoyable day

The experience was bought for me by my partner's daughter and could not have been a better choice. She knew I liked steam locomotives but had no idea that I was planning to go there in the near future so to receive the experience as a gift was fantastic. The day was excellent but the wet and cloudy weather could have put a damper on it but thanks to the operational steam locomotives providing rides as well as photo graphic opportunities the poor weather hardly affected us. A grand day out!

Took our grandson aged 4we all loved it the train was spotlessly clean very friendly the guard even invited our grandson into the cab which he loved would definitely recommend excellent value

What an amazing experience!! I’ve been looking forward to this, so it had a lot of expectation. It didn’t disappoint at all. And was even better than I imagined. Clear instructions meant I was able to take the controls and not mess it up! The offer of a job, paying in biscuits may have been tongue in cheek, but I nearly accepted. ????
