Vineyard Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting for Two in Yorkshire

Located in beautiful West Yorkshire countryside, Holmfirth is the venue for a delightful English vineyard experience. Planted with 7,000 vines, this seven acre vineyard lies in the beautiful Holme Valley, surrounded by panoramic views of the Peak District National Park. To begin take a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, from original cuttings to the newest additions and learn about the process from planting to harvesting. The tour guide will be on hand throughout to answer any questions. Then go to the winery to taste three English wines, before a delicious ploughman's lunch, made from local produce, in the beautiful tasting lounge, overlooking the vineyard and Peak District.

• Availability Description

  This voucher is valid for two people. Available Sunday–Friday, September–April. Tours operate daily at 10.30am. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 18. The experience involves some walking, often over uneven ground (the vineyards are on slopes and as such as unsuitable for wheelchairs or the infirm).

• Weather

  Cancellations are extremely rare but the venue will give advance notice if a cancellation is necessary and rebook another date.

• Duration Detail

  Expect to be at the vineyard for around two and a half hours, including one hour for dining.

• Numbers On The Day

  Share the tour with a maximum of 40 people.

• Dress Code

  Please bear in mind that some time is spent outside, walking over uneven ground. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day, with comfortable shoes.
