Tank Passenger Ride in Oxfordshire

Ever wondered what a ride in a tank would be like? Huge, intimidating and unstoppable from the outside, they're very different inside, and now there's a chance to find out exactly what being a passenger is like. Participants will be met, welcomed and introduced to the mighty GKN Sankey FV432 Armoured Personnel Carrier, a 15-tonne tank complete with turret, machine gun and designed to hold a 12-man crew. Then slide into this mighty beast and get ready to be driven around a purpose-built off-road course for 20 minutes. Running on caterpillar treads rather than wheels, it's certainly different to being chauffeured in a car!
