Fabulous Tour of Kew Gardens!

This tour was gift for my husband but we both enjoyed it immensely. Our guide Carolyn was so knowledgeable and full of fascinating facts and information as we walked through the grounds and the Princess of Wales Glasshouses. We were lucky to have warm Autumn weather and vibrant colours. We stayed in the garden the whole day after our tour and climbed the Treetop Walk and had had lunch in the lovely Orangery restaurant. A fabulous day, we didn’t want to leave!!

Lovely day out at Kew

Beautiful and extensive gardens, over 300 acres of ‘green’ in London. We took the free Introduction to the gardens tour which was excellent.

Great day out

I had a great experience at Kew,from my encounters with the staff throughout the day to the many attractions on offer. As an added bonus there is a modern sculpture exhibition across the site which was very popular. I visited most of the attractions but after 4 hours I still didn't, see everything I particularly enjoyed the Hive,Pagoda, the Waterlily house and Kew Palace . The Palm house and temperate house were both very popular as was the tree top walk and although busy with it being Summer holidays, the gardens never felt crowded as they are so extensive. There are lots of places to eat and sit and they have well maintained toilets which is a must. For a very interesting and fun day outdoors for everyone at a great price I recommend Kew.
