Tank Driving Taster in Leicestershire for Two

Learn to commandeer an iconic tank with this unique driving experience for two. Upon arrival, change into the provided uniform and helmet, then meet the instructor and crew before receiving a full safety briefing and being taken to a mighty turreted FV432 tank. Then climb inside and take the controls; it's time to go on a thrilling drive through the Leicestershire countryside. Have a go at driving with the hatch open, then try using the periscope instead for a real challenge. When the instructor takes over the driving, get comfy in the turret and relish the ride.

• Availability Description

  Wednesdays and weekends (£20 supplement), between April - October.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 16. Maximum height is 6'4''. Maximum weight 22 stone. Participants need to be reasonably fit to take part. No driving experience is necessary. For the purposes of safety, no dogs are allowed within the grounds.

• Weather

  To confirm the experience is definitely going ahead, please call Armourgeddon on the morning of the booked date.

• Duration Detail

  Expect to spend one hour at the venue with 15 minutes of tank driving.

• Dress Code

  Please wear comfortable casual clothing and sensible footwear as conditions can be muddy.

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Spectator fees apply. A maximum of two passengers are allowed in the tank for an extra fee per person (minimum age eight), payable on the day.
