Fforest Coaster Ride at Zip World

Make a beeline for Britain's only alpine coaster of its kind and prepare for a thrilling woodland adventure. The Zip World Fforest Coaster is much like a traditional toboggan, the only difference being it runs on rails, so it can be experienced all year round, come rain or shine. Hop into the self-controlled carriage for three hair-raising laps of the course, beginning in the heart of the Welsh forest. Ascend 300 metres on the uplift, before letting gravity take its toll as the toboggan zooms and weaves between the trees at exhilarating speeds, reaching up to 25mph in some places. For those who'd prefer to take it easy and take in the picturesque views, the speed can be reduced with the self-controlled brake system for a more leisurely ride.

  This experience is available to book week round but please be aware that the coaster is closed Tuesday–Thursday, November–April. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 9 years. Those aged 9–17 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult. Minimum height: 1m. Maximum weight: 150kg.

• Dress Code

  Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing.
