Choice of the Owl or Bird of Prey Experience for Two

Spend the day out amongst Mother Nature's finest in a choice booking between either the Owl Experience or the Bird of Prey Experience, at the UK Owl and Raptor Centre. Each selection is sure to thrill and will have participants learning about, handling and flying some of the aviary worlds most exciting animals. The Owl experience will give the chance to fly, handle and see in action such species as the Long Earred Owl and the Boobook Owl. The Bird of Prey session will allow guests to come face to face to the imposing Steppe Eagle and the Eurasian Buzzard.

• Participant Guidelines

  Flying demonstrations take place at 10am and 1pm in Winter and 1:30pm in the Summer. Please ensure you arrive on time for your booking slot.

• Weather

  As this in an outdoors experience, it may be impacted by weather conditions. In the event of cancellation due to poor weather your experience can be rebooked for a later time.

• Duration Detail

  Your experience will last for around 90 minutes in total.

  Please dress for the weather as this is an outdoor experience.

A 90-minute choice bird handling and flying session between: The Birds of Prey Experience. The Owl Experience. What Do I Need to Know? Available Monday-Friday, year round. You will be able to handle the birds with gloves, but out of respect for their welfare please do not stroke the birds. If the forecast is bad, you will be contacted 24-hours prior to reschedule your booking. Minimum age: 13 years old. In the wetter months, boots or wellies are advised. The flying area is on grass but amendments can be made for disability requirements. All dates are subject to availability.
