Extended Rally Driving Day

Rally driving rocks. This experience offers a real feel for fast and furious driving in a rally car. Discover the secrets of causing and controlling a skid, the art of handbrake turns and power slides on special loose surface or tarmac rally stages, with expert tuition and plenty of rally driving practice. It's a real adrenaline rush keeping control of something so unmistakably wild. At some venues you'll also be chauffeured around a stage by an instructor at competition speeds, just to show you how it's done. The itinerary and the make of car will vary from venue to venue, from a range which includes the ever-popular rear-wheel-drive Ford Escort MKII, the Ford Focus, the Escort Cosworth or the Ford Sierra Cosworth.

• Availability Description

  Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year. Weekend dates are always busy; book at least four weeks in advance.

• Participant Guidelines

  Some venues have height and weight restrictions, please check when booking. A full manual driving licence must be produced on the day to ensure participation.

• Weather

  Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.

• Duration Detail

  Duration varies from venue to venue. As a guide, expect to be at the venue for between two and eight hours including a briefing, tuition, driving time and debrief.

• Numbers On The Day

  There are up to to six people in each group, depending on the location. All driving is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.

• Dress Code

  Wear flat shoes or trainers which are comfortable for driving. Helmets are provided.

• Other Info
