Take to the skies for an aerial thrill unlike any other in a Thruster T600N fixed-wing microlight. Start with a pre-flight briefing with experienced and friendly professional pilots, before climbing into the plane with an instructor and getting comfortable in the two-seater enclosed cockpit. Feel the thrill of ascending into the skies and soaring over the beautiful Lancashire countryside in this nimble little craft, while enjoying panoramic bird's-eye views over the land. These small planes have exceptionally responsive handling, and the instructor will even offer the chance to take the reins and pilot the craft - a real rush of adrenaline.

- Availability Description
Available week round, year round, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Maximum fully clothed weight is 14 stone. Minimum age is 16 years. Under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian who must sign a disclaimer. Reasonable fitness is required. This experience is not suitable for people in their first or third trimester of pregnancy.
- Weather
It is essential to call before 9am on the morning of the experience before setting off to confirm go ahead. Weather cancellations can be re-booked for another date or time.
- Duration Detail
Please expect to be at the venue for at least an hour, including a 30 minute flight.
- Numbers On The Day
The briefing may be shared, but the flight itself is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified microlight flying instructor.
- Dress Code
Wrap up warm with sensible shoes (no heels) and gloves. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
- Other Info
All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Flying time can count towards a microlight Private Pilot's Licence, for which 15 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying is needed to qualify. Spectators are welcome to come along and watch take-off and landing. There are on-site facilities to buy refreshments.
