About the experience
On this enlightening foraging and wilderness cookery experience, be introduced to the wealth of edible, medicinal plants that grow wild in the UK, and how to cook with them. Friday kicks off with a welcome safety briefing, then the team sets up camp and gets the fire going. The following days pack in an eye-opening schedule that includes plant and tree identification, basic tool-making, foraging and cooking. Roam across 76 beautiful acres of mixed woodland to discover nature's bounty. The foraging aspect of the course is NCFE IIQ accredited, and the entire course has been running for more than 20 years. Leave with brand new bushcraft skills and a range of new recipes to perfect back at home.

This experience is available 1 - 3 June and 19 - 21 October 2018, with further dates to follow.
- Participant Guidelines
Foragers aged 14 or over are welcome. If disability provisions are required, please call the venue ahead to discuss.
- Weather
The course could be cancelled in extreme high winds or impassable snow.
- Duration Detail
This experience lasts for two days. Arrive at 7pm on Friday and leave at 12pm on Sunday.
- Numbers On The Day
A maximum of 16 people will share this weekend.
- Dress Code
Wear tough, comfy clothing and layer up e.g. several sweatshirts under a waterproof jacket. Avoid jeans. Natural colours/camo will increase chances of spotting wildlife. Walking boots are ideal, but wellies in wet weather and trainers in dry will suffice.
