About the experience
Based at the foot of the Warden Hills, this riding school is an ideal location for a leisurely horse ride or walk. This experience accommodates a family of four and during the ride, one horse is allocated to each couple. Learn all about general horse keeping before each receiving a basic horse-riding lesson from a qualified instructor. Then, set off on a recreational trek along the ancient Icknield Way or across the Chiltern Hills, alternating between walking and riding. This experience is a great way to get acquainted with horses and enjoy a wealth of stunning scenery.

- Availability Description
This voucher is valid for a group of four, including at least one adult (18 or over). Available on selected Sundays at 2pm, subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
This activity is suitable for total beginners. Minimum age: 5 years and maximum weight: 20 stone. Mounts are chosen to match any riders age, weight and riding experience.
- Weather
Riding may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather (e.g. heavy rain or snow) for the safety of both the participants and horses.
- Duration Detail
Please arrive a few minutes early and expect to be at the venue for up to three hours. Riding time is approximately 90 minutes.
- Numbers On The Day
This experience is for four people and may be shared with one other group of four.
- Dress Code
Wear comfortable clothes (e.g. leggings, jodhpurs or track suit bottoms) which are suitable for the weather (no strap tops please) with wellingtons or flat-soled boots. Jeans, trainers and lace-up shoes are not recommended. A riding hat is provided.
