As the oldest polo ground in England that was founded in 1911, Taunton Vale Polo Club in Somerset is the ideal place to try out this time-honoured game in true traditional style. You’ll begin your full-day polo experience by meeting your expert instructors and learning all the techniques and rules you'll need to get started. Learn how to use your mallet and practise on model and mechanical horses before trying it out on one of the club's polo ponies and getting into teams for a chukka with the club players. Enjoy a mouth-watering two-course lunch at the charming thatched clubhouse before heading to the ground to witness a professional game in action. Watch as the game gets underway and the teams go head during this thrilling and tense tactical team sport in picturesque surroundings.
