• Participant Guidelines

  Adults are aged 16+ years. Children are aged from 2–15. Children under two years go free but still need a pre-booked ticket. All children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+.

• Dress Code

  Dress appropriately for the outdoors. Please note, Hoo Zoo sits on a natural floodplain - wellington boots are essential if visiting during, or just after wet weather.

The zoo opens at 10am each morning. It is advisable to book 14 days prior to your visit. Please be aware that the zoo's carnivores are fed a natural diet, meaning you may see whole dead prey items (such as chicks) in their enclosure. Pets and animals are not permitted on site except for service dogs.
