Gin, Vodka or Rum Experience Day for Two at Nelson's Distillery and School

Head to Nelson's Distillery and School and both learn about the different botanicals used to create unique and exciting gins, rums and vodkas. Begin the day with a welcome coffee each at the school followed by an introduction to the course from a professional. Relax with a gin and tonic before discovering the processes involved in making these delicious beverages. After watching how to make it, it's your turns to play with botanicals and create and distil your own unique gins and creations! As distilling can be a strenuous process, stop for a leisurely lunch before enjoying a tour around the distilleries very own still called Victory. After the tour, bottle and label your creations which you can take home to share at the end of the day! Why not treat yourselves to a bottle or two of Nelson's gin or rum!

• Participant Guidelines

  As this experience involves alcohol, the minimum age is 18.

• Duration Detail

  Lasts between four- and five-hours including time for lunch, a tour of the still and gin drinking.

• Dress Code

  We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible, sturdy shoes (not heels) as the ground can sometimes be slippery or wet.
