Begin the afternoon in either The Princess Mary Drawing Room, the magnificent Jacobean library, The Orangey restaurant or, when the weather allows, on the terrace, where a delicious afternoon tea will be served. Tuck into delicate cakes, dainty sandwiches and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Wash it down with a satisfying cup of tea or freshly ground coffee. Once every last crumb is finished, head out to the gardens where 12 acres of landscaped beauty awaits.
