About the experience
IWM Duxford is Britain's largest living and working aviation museum. Home to a vast range of iconic aircraft, it is the ultimate setting in which to fly a light aircraft. Begin on the ground with a briefing on flying and safety techniques before climbing aboard a dual-controlled, two-seater training plane with a fully qualified instructor. It's then 'chocks away' for a 30-minute flight, during which at the pilot's discretion, there will be the opportunity to take over the controls and experience the thrill of flying a plane. Once back on the ground, enjoy the chance to explore the museum itself.
