About the experience
Take to the skies and experience an incredible journey back in time with this insightful Dambuster helicopter experience for two. Climb on board the chopper and fly the same route used to train the pilots for the famous Dambusters raid. Operation Chastise, later called the Dam Busters, was a vital operation during the Second World War, whereby 19 Lancaster bombers were required to pull of a bold raid into Nazi Germany while flying at precise height of 60ft throughout the bombing run. Whilst soaking up a slice of aviation history, enjoy breath-taking aerial views of the Peak District, the Mam Tor rock formations, Chatsworth House and Derwent Valley. After the remarkable experience, enjoy a delightful cream tea to top the day off perfectly.
