Spend two hours learning the basics of paddleboarding under the guidance of professional instructor and receive a great introduction to the water sport while soaking the picturesque Warwickshire scenery. Start with a briefing before being kitted out ready for some serious action on the water. Learn how to paddle, steer and balance before putting those brand new skills to the test with a gentle cruise up the River Leam, taking in stunning views of the Victorian Park and nature reserve along the way.

- Availability Description
Sessions run approximately two weekend dates per month between March - October.
- Participant Guidelines
Min age 14. Participants must be reasonably fit and confident in the water. Ability to swim is not necessary as buoyancy aids are worn at all times. A complete a medical declaration must be completed (and signed by a parent/guardian if under 18).
- Weather
Kayaking goes ahead in most conditions. Very rarely flood conditions may lead to postponement - the venue makes contact if a session is postponed.
- Duration Detail
Lasts for two and a half hours. To ensure a prompt start, please arrive a few minutes in advance of the start time. Allow some time at the centre afterwards to shower and change.
- Numbers On The Day
There is a student to tutor ratio of 8:1 and everyone has their own paddleboard.
- Dress Code
Please wear basic sports clothes that are fine to get wet. Bring towels and complete changes of clothes. Buoyancy aids and waterproof tops are provided. Either remove or firmly secure glasses. Contact lenses may be worn.
- Other Info
