About the experience
Birds of prey are truly majestic creatures, and this introduction to falconry in Warwickshire is a great way for a pair of bird lovers to learn more about their care and conservation. Start with a falconry workshop which covers all the different types of birds of prey, their habits, habitats and the conservation work carried out by the centre. Learn about falconry history, how to handle the birds and what equipment birds in captivity are fitted with. Meet resident hawks, falcons and owls (while owls aren't considered true falconry birds, they are a popular species to fly or handle), then head out to the flying arena and learn how to fly these birds freely through the beautiful surrounding scenery.
