All Manner of Pies at Cookery School in London

Get stuck into an exciting day of pie making at the award-winning Cookery School. Learn all about this most beloved of meals, including how to make a sweet butter pastry enriched with egg yolk. Discover the secrets of puff pastry and get the lowdown on making individual savoury pies with shortcrust pastry. During the course of the lesson, create delicious chicken and mushroom pie and beef and ale pie as well as tasty Cornish pastries. For the sweet course, learn how to bake the ideal apple pie. At the end of the class, sit down to eat the piping hot pies, complete with a pint of beer. Leave with a host of brand new recipes to practise at home. This is the class that the FT called the 'perfect pastry lesson'.
