60 Minute Light Aircraft Flight in Essex

Come to Essex to enjoy sensational views and the joys of flying a plane with a thrilling 60 minute light aircraft experience from Clacton. Following a full safety briefing and talk on fundamental flying techniques, jump aboard a dual-controlled two-seater Cessna 152 training plane and head to the clouds for a sensational flying adventure. • Availability Description

  Seven days a week throughout the year, other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Please note that weekends are particularly busy and should be booked at least four weeks in advance.

• Participant Guidelines

  Maximum height is 6'4''. Maximum weight is 15 stone. There are no age restrictions.

• Weather

  Flying is weather dependent and it's essential that you call the venue for a weather check. For morning bookings call the day before, for afternoon/evening bookings call before setting out. Cancelled flights can be rebooked direct.

• Duration Detail

  Your experience will last for about 80 minutes, including your 60 minute flight. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration.

• Numbers On The Day

  Your briefing might be shared. Your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor.

• Dress Code

  Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.

• Other Info

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Your flying time can count towards a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). To qualify for a PPL you need 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying. If you have ever wanted to be a pilot, this is a great way to get started.
